A Splendid Animation, to be expected from Pikanjo
Perfect Kirby, Nin10doh, The Matrix Has You, it's no wonder this cartoon has such a high score. This is not to say that your past performance merits higher scores, but how splendid this cartoon's performance was. I was surprised not to see dear Richie (or is it John? I can't remember which one of you is the pain glutton) in this flash, as it is a bit of a trademark to see him take punishment in your flashes, despite what sort of continuity you've infringed upon. Of course, despite what appearances you make or the copyrights you destroy in your quest of histeria, it all ends up as a perfect example of what flash artists should do for comedy/action.
Plotline: VERY good use of continuity. You've stuck to the series's roots and its storyline, if you would call it that, hah... More to the point, I was actually surprised that the profanity-spitting goggled guy was still alive. When I watched Tankmen 2, I thought he was killed, but even in this case I loved his role as an annoyance... Rather, more of an annoyance than most of the other obnoxious "cock-joke" spewing characters. The female, well, I didn't know whether to like her or not at first. She seemed more intelligible thant he rest, and didn't seem to fit in with the idiotic members of the Tank Crew. Her bumbling in the end though fixed that quickly and made me laugh at her with ease. I was light hearted to watch that part.
Additionally, the idea was gold. Having Steve kidnapped was a great way to give the viewer a better look at the warfare that goes on. Sure, we've seen goggle-guy and the Australian accents get killed, as well as poor Dark Ma- Er, Bill, but they were in a more joking manner. Seeing how the Tankmen do battle like that was awesome, as it were. Of course, the lone sniper in the building threw me off a while. Certainly, he was funny, but what was his purpose? Was he there just to be scared and make us laugh? I never saw him doing anything pertaining to the mission. Still, a great cartoon despite two or three minor things.
Humor: You'd think that, by now, sexual, homosexual, spaztastic, farting, and beer jokes would be old by now. I mean, REALLY old, with how much the internet has pummeled them into the ground. But you know what? Tankmen seems to avoid the disgusting barricade of age and has brought about a great setting that brings smiles and laughter to us. I'm humbled to see such amazing talent, yet as I've stated before, it's to be expected from John and Richie.
The bondage and anal sex jokes were actually funny, though normally I'm not quite interested in such forms of humor. Still, you've taken them and made them a grand thing to behold and listen to. I have to admit, my favorite part was when one of the opposing commanders was interrogating Steve. I'll say this: MY favorite would have to be the Stick too! I can only imagine the short cartoons someone could create elaborating on that one... Errr, on second thought, I'd rather not.
Animation and Graphics Quality: I almost believed it was from the original author of Tankmen. I didn't even notice the words Pikanjo or John and Richie within the vicinity until five or six replays later. I'm a bit embarassed that I was so blind to your credit towards this magnificent work. Of course, seeing the female soldier did give me a few second thoughts. I digress, however.
Smooth animation quality and wonderful visual effects. It was kind of easy for the female soldier to slide into that enemy's head though... Talk about an empty skull, hah! More to the point, there were no flaws beyond that. You've done a great job this time, guys. A GREAT job.
Sound: The voice acting was nice, as was the lip sync, but the part where Steve starts screaming sounds a bit quiet for a scream. The second point he screamed when the dagger was removed from his genitalia was much better in quality, however.
As for the gun shots, I had to keep turning the volume up and down, up for the voices, down for the discharge of bullets as they were quite loud in comparison.
I'm running out of space, sorry. All in all, great cartoon guys.
